We were selected as part of the technical team responsible for design and construction review of the University of Guelph [OVC] Pathobiology building. The building opened in October 2010.
We provided our services initially to prepare the site for development. This involved removal of existing site services – various sewers, steam, chilled water, and hydro structures.
A pre-servicing contract was designed – tendered to provide the site with sanitary sewer, water supply, and storm water management. During construction of the building, we provide further admin and construction review, to integrate the pre-servicing, and to complete the surface works.
A key site feature is the storm water management facility – rain garden shown at left.
